There are a couple of things that I would like to see improved on the site:

1 - I wouldn't mind having the option to receive emails when someone replies to one of my posts - this could be my just not knowing how to "work" the options I have...

2 - It seems that, although I've already logged in on the Home Page, I still have to log in again when going to the Forums and preparing to post or reply. Is there a way around this?

The first I can help with easily

In the forum click "User CP" >> Under Settings and Options select "Edit Options" >> Then under Messaging and Noitfication there is a heading Defauld Thread Subscription Mode In the drop down menu you can select to be notified on replys or posts to threads you either start or post to.

The second is a known bug I am working out. Last night I fianlly gave in on trying to fix it myself and have called in the pros. I hope to now have this resolved quickly. One thing that helps, but is not a sure fire fix, is to click the remember me box when you log in. This helps but is not 100%. I will update when the issue is resolved.

Problem fixed. What was taking me hours to fix was fixed in an hour by the guys at Subdreamer. Great service and support!

In response to a request by a guest. We have added a guestbook.

Guestbook removed, After 3 weeks and thousands of hits to the site no contributions to guestbook. If this is something you would really like again please let me know.

Here's a few that I have.

1) Have a system where a user can contribute money to the site and not have to look at Google ads. I know you want the site to be free, and so do I, but I'm just not a fan of generic PPC ads all over the place. This would give faithfull users a choice(with proper planning there will be faithful users, eventually ).

2) Put a link up by the "Welcome, You last visited" thing in the top right corner of the forum that takes you to a search list of all the posts since the last time you logged in.

I really like your forum software. I frequently post on another site that uses these two features. They're great to have.

Thanks for the feedback! I will be reducing the ads. I plan on eliminating the Amazon ads shortly, and reducing the Google ones.

I am toying around with ad placement and am attempting to keep the ads as non-intrusive as possible. My goal is to continue to build membership and have enough traffic to start selling ads directly versus through Google. I would limit the number of ads per page and hopefully they would be the most relative ads for the community versud what Google things will be most relative.

As for donations I have toyed around with donations, I have just shied away as I do not want to be seen as begging for money. Though there some great things which can happen with donations. A friend who runs a sizable board takes donations and then has a special forums where they can post, then gives them recognition in their title.

I may give donations a try, but am still on the fence.

New post search.You should be able to view the posts since your last visit. The forum navigation bar has a spot new posts which will take you to only the posts since your last visit.
