Looking Back on 2011

Well I went in and undated my spread sheet and calendar for up coming assignments.

In 2010 I had worked 302 games.

Sadly I will not hit that mark this year.

As long as there is no more rain 277 games in the books with another 13 scheduled thru Dec 18th for 290.

May have come up short, but the rain this year was bad.

Had 26 Rain-outs and another 10 games were cancelled for one reason or another before hand.

Though I did make a couple of visits to Urgent Care for a X-Ray or two, I had no on field injuries that kept me off the field.

I also made my first trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park thanks to the Alta Loma Storm and had a great time there.

Will be completing a Adult League season Sunday with my partner and I working the Major Wood Bat Division Championship Game. We were also assigned the AA and AAA Championship games as well as several other playoff games in the league.

I took over as UIC for a local LL and scheduled umpires for two leagues for Fall Ball. Looking forward to starting clinics and training for the spring season right after the new year.

All in all I am happy and thankful for the work I have had and done in 2011 and hope 2012 is a great as 2010 and 2011 have been.
