Is there any difference in the Smitty Traditional Style Umpire's Jacket and the Honigs Major League Style Jacket besides $2.04 and location from which they are shipped from?

Not a lot of difference. The Smitty is a little lighter in weight. They are both good jackets. You can find the Smitty for a lot cheaper if you look. A bunch of places sell them for $45.

Be careful with the Honigs...I bought a 2X and the sleeves are SHORT!!! :WTFI wear a legit 18x36 dress shirt and when I move my arms straight out in front of me the Honigs slides up my arms. It is annoying to the point that I will only wear it on the bases and it is below 40 degrees...otherwise Long Sleeves with Cold gear under ;)

Kevin...new +pos or old+pos. I have been very leary of buying any of their new stuff...

Old, apparently. I bought the jacket fairly recently, but it sported the old minor league label.

Take a look at one of these +POS jackets:

It's as good as the Honig's (if not better), and better than the Smitty; and it costs less than either of them (drastically less than the Honig's). I have a navy Honig's and a black +POS, and I think the +POS is a better jacket.

Looks the exact same as the first one. Just kidding

I too wondered where Fisk, MO was. I had to google it.

I bought the new +POS jackets. One navy with red inserts and one black with the white inserts. I like them.

My +POS is the older style. I didn't have it one day and borrowed a buddy's Smitty. The Smitty was noticeably lighter weight, so I bought one cheap to wear when I didn't want the heavier jacket.

I'm thinking of buying one of the +POS black jackets and selling my Smitty black jacket. The Smitty jackets are a very thin material. They look good and are made well, but not very substantial as far as the warmth goes.
