Interesting article, but it is all a farce. Even in the pictures from the article the zone they are showing is almost at the guy's chin.

These wonderful zones don't take into account the plate is 2 dimensional and therefore the zone is 3 dimensional. We've all seen those pitches which catch the back corner.

I'd also be willing to bet these zones give the same box for David Eckstein (5'5") as they do to the new Orioles catcher Wieters (6'5") even though that is what they claim the outfield camera is for.
