I'm a little leary of buying used shoes and I don't know the brand. Also, the plate shoes seem a bit rough but price is good for the little bit I make doing this.

I'm a little leary of buying used shoes and I don't know the brand. Also, the plate shoes seem a bit rough but price is good for the little bit I make doing this.

The base shoes, ....fine, Mizuno is a good choice for lots of people ...

however, those are not plate shoes, ....remember, steel toe shoes do NOT equal plate shoes. What if you take one on top on the laces area, ...then what?? Steel toe doesn't do much there, does it? ;)

Good point, I never even caught that. Made the assumption that the were plate shoes and would cover everything.

Honigs still has NB plate shoes for under $70. I love mine!
