i do understand what you are stating as far as the gorilla arm, my consternation comes from the obvious intent to hide the ball by the left shin. I mean the arm is not hanging, the ball is literally placed against the left shinbone. Of course if the ball were in the glove, leaning on the left knee...... thanks ty

OBR - Am.Legion 16 - 19 yr olds Here in wonderful wyoming, i have a couple of RH pitchers, who will, during their stretch with R1, keep the ball in their rh and place it on their left shin as they lean in to take signs. Warren, I think i may be the only umpire from wyoming that actually frequents these boards. Always trying to learn and improve. My perception of the "new" ABUA is there are a few 'prima donnas' there. Seems if you haven't paid the $$ they don't want to talk with you. I noticed my past five years of posts were deleted and i had to re-register. My join date is now Dec. 1969, go figure. Jim where in montana? I use to live in 3-forks a zillion years ago.
