  1. I'll be honest, I don't really understand how it could slip down the legs if it's held in by the NB pocketless jock with compression shorts/tights over the top.
  2. Sorry, hadn't noticed this. I'll try to get a picture of it tonight.
  3. Tried mine out for the first time the other day, loved it. Underwear, jock, then compression and it stayed put perfectly. Took one glancing shot off of my shin-guards and up, but nothing significant.
  4. So had a chance to use this in a majors ll game (11-12 year olds). It's definitely not low-profile, but the protection felt great, and nice coverage. I felt like a tank back there. Still have a bit of tweaking to do on the fit on the straps, or might move to the highly praised delta-flex, but for the cost, I'm thrilled with the CP, and love that it has the removeable pads.
  5. Just got back from doing a scrimmage with 3 teenagers who volunteered. They did a pretty good job, while I was able to just float and advise. Next week we've got a game where I'll be behind the plate and they'll take the bases.
  6. Thanks for the feedback. I've got mine on order. We'll see if it'll make it in time for me to do a scrimmage with a couple of teenagers I'm training.
  7. Has anyone here tried this with their compression short package they sell, or just with the jock (or are you wearing it with some other jock or pocketed compression set-up)? Definitely getting the cup, trying to decide how to wear it.
  8. I'm North Bay/American Canyon Little League. We're in District 53.
  9. Just joined after lurking for awhile. Just started umpiring again last year after having not done it for 6 or 8 years. I decided it was time to upgrade my CP after using my old one last year and finding that it didn't provide quite as much coverage as it did when I was a teenager. Since I just volunteer LL don;t have much of a budget, and had been considering the Champion P200 based on recommendations here before seeing this and really being sold on the removeable/cleanable pads. Looking forward to getting it next week and putting it to use. Depending on fit, I might order and add the Delta Flex to this.
  10. Hi there, been lurking here the past month or so. I've been recruited to be the new UIC/scheduler for our little league in Northern California. I started umpiring when I was thirteen, and did it pretty regularly up until I was 22. Now that I have kids in the league I umpired a handful of games last year, including some of the all-star and TOC games. Apparently that was enough (and/or I was the only one stupid enough to tell them yes ) after the former UIC retired. Looking forward to getting back into umpiring again, and working on upgrading my gear, as it turns out that the CP that provided excellent coverage as a teenager doesn't cover quite as much as it used to now that I'm 30.
