The NFHS book does not address this situation, but I have been advised to handle it much like the NCAA has established. Issue a warning to the HC of the offending team, give him a few seconds to tell his guys that they better get going, and if they don't the HC and 1 offending player are ejected, if that doesn't get the point across, you eject the next player in line. I've had the start of it happen a couple of times, and my partner and I will step toward each team and tell them "Let's go" and it normally gets the point across. I've tried to find the video of Paronto talking about it at the Phoenix Regional meeting that went on facebook right afterward, but I can't find it. It is a disgrace and absolutely disrespectful, so I understand the blood boiling part, but it is a serious issue that should be addressed as soon as it starts.

I get between POP and 1BLE and set my self at an angle to where I can see 3rd base out of the corner of my eye instead of square to 1BL and the moment I see the ball is fair I look at 3rd, and its typically about the time R2 is going through or coming out of the grass back onto the base path between 3B and HP. Every team in that district knows that he is notorious for it, so we have to be ready for the appeal. It's a dirty play. I had a senior (and I mean old as well) official tell me he almost dumped the assistant coach for telling him that they intentionally do this cause he felt its not teaching good sportsmanship which is a little extreme for me, but UIL does say the field is an extension of the classroom.

I wish I could find a video of one of my mentors. He doesn't work the scissor but his LH punch out works cause its what I do even if I'm working the scissor for young kid ball.

Here's an interesting one which I would like to see everyone's take on. R2 & R3, less than 2 outs. Suicide Squeeze up the first base line, both runners on the move. How do you position yourself as HP to get the fair/foul, but also see the touch at 3rd from R2. We have a team notorious for this play and I've found a way to see it, but how would you handle it yourself?

I disagree, paper work never any fun. Now this situation I would have warned him that the conversation was done right after the play in the fifth, then I would have restricted him after his comment about "us" costing them a run. That might have put out any potential flames in the 7th, but had he continued and pulled those antics, BOOM! he gone!.
