About Me

1)  I have been an OhioHSAA Class 1 baseball and fast pitch softball umpire since 1993.

2)  I am also a MichiganHSAA baseball and fast pitch softball umpire and an USA Softball and USSSA fast pitch umpire.

3)  I have been an OhioHSAA Class 1 basketball since 1971 and a women's college basketball official from 1974 to 2008.

4)  I have been married to my wonderful "better half" Bonnie since 1982 and we have two wonderful sons, Mark, Jr. (son #1a), and Andy (son #1b).

5)  Mark, Jr., has been an OhioHSAA Class 1 baseball umpire since 2008 and Class 1 fast pitch softball umpire since 2013.  He has been an ASA and USSSA fast pitch umpire since 2008, and a college softball umpire since 2015.  He also has been an OhioHSAA Class 1 basketball officials since 2007.

6)  Andy is a proud member of the Ohio Air National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing.
