Kudos to you for having the stones to do what is right. You'll run into many classless people in this game. Don't lose any sleep over asses and keep up the GREAT WORK!!! P.S. You will also meet some OUTSTANDING folks in this game too!

My situation was similar. Told the coach in between innings. He gave me some grief. But I guess a rat does what a rat does.

Defensive team has two uniformed players in the stands charting pitches and clocking their pitcher. Is this allowed? I know you can't clock you opponents pitchers in uniform.

No regrets or remorse. Rats need to be felt with. I agree if you're the only coach you need to behave!

In a recent American Legion tournament I had to eject their only coach. At the time I didn't know he was their only coach. He said, "You're terrible." I ejected him. It was a good ejection. Discovered after the ejection he was their only coach. Therefore, they had to forfeit the game. I have no remorse about the ejection. Would do it again if the rat acted the same way. Just seeing what others would do in same situation.
