I saw this on the MLB Network last night and wanted to share. Jim Wolf ejecting Bobby Cox. No big surprise there with Cox getting dumped. But I love the way Jim Wolf reacts, keeps his composure and tells Bobby he's got to go. I for get the analyst if it was Larkin or someone else. But someone said something to the effect of:

I can tell you this wasn't a quick ejection. A young manager will get ejected quickly especially for arguing balls and strikes. But when your Bobby Cox you get a little more room. With there only being 1500 or so fans in the park I can tell you that umpire has been hearing every work Cox has been saying all game and the umpire just had enough of it.

I love reading the lips in this video. But Wolf remains as cool as a cucumber.

At about 15 seconds you hear him say "Hey/Okay Bobby you're outta here."

Just after that you actually hear Bobby drop the F-Bomb before they turned off the sound feed.

But this is a clinic on remaining cool.

Kudos to Jim Wolf.....He definately subscribes to the adage of 'never arguing with an idiot.....ect

BUT--- IMHO, ejecting Bobby Cox is kiddieville. I mean, this excuse for a manager who seems intent on simply extending his personal EJ stat record, I mean come on..

If you're working a Braves game, surely you gotta possess in the back of your mind, that more than likely you could have this moron showing his @$$ eventually just for some TV face time, if nothing else. To me, it seems like he can't help it. It gets to be a "routine" EJ...Nothing to really get excited over..

An interesting stat would be who has tossed Booby how many times and who hasn't tossed him YET..

But in fairness to Braves fans or even Bobby himself maybe, it's probably not his fault for the front office's giving or traded away championship caliber personnel over the years. I could see how that in itself could be plenty frustrating..

There are umpires that have'nt dumped him yet ?

lol...he only has 150 total  (subject to change, of course).

every umpire has had to toss him, but then again he has been around since the 19th century, so of the umpire have had to retire. :HD:
