While I like what I see on this forum, with todays identity theft going on and the fact that you require a password from each of your members as a way of identifying themselves, it would be nice if you could change your login to be a secure login at the very least. Passwords are easily cracked/hacked and sending a password across the internet in clear text is not really nice. Will there be a chance of doing this in the near future?

If Umpire-Empire were ever hacked, the only personal info stored on the site is your email address. If you are a premium member you pay via PayPal so I never get any payment info.
That said I have some other updates planned and will look into a more secure login.

I understand your concern. However, if you're using different passwords across the Internet, then the only site they'll be able to log onto is this one.

All you would need is a SSL certificate for login purposes and possibly a redirect created that would send users to the secure area for authentication.. I deal a lot with security of websites so that was just another reason why I asked. If email were stolen, would you like everybody to be spammed? I appreciate you looking into this.

That's why I have multiple emails.
One is for secure communication only, such as banks.
The other is for forums such as this.
