Two Firsts Today

LL Jr. game today. I had 2 firsts for me in my 5+ years as a Man in Blue.

First first: Bases loaded, can't recall the outs, (no matter). Batter chops the ball off the plate, with lots of topspin, BR runs toward 1B, about 10 feet down the line from the box, batted ball hits the top of his helmet. I call time, BR out, runners return to bases at TOP.

Second first: Runners on 1 & 2, no outs. Line drive to F4, catch (out #1), runners off on contact, F4 runs to 2B (out #2), throws to F3 (out #3).

Sounds like a great day. For better or worse my games have been uneventful.
