ABS unintended consequences of time challenge

so, is this a case book play in the MLBU manual for this year, to tell the umpires how to handle this type of situation. what if it goes to backstop and as ump and catcher turn around with ball, the pitcher taps in time. did they bring up these type plays during discussions and decide tough luck.

do they not have the guys who are better than others at bringing up some not thought of consequences, weird, off the wall, maybe dream, plays or do would they bully, snear, role their eyes, shun, blackball that person that might bring up this type play so nobody says anything. or do/did it get brought up and it is just tough luck, that's my story and i'm sticking to it. this below is how we want it handled.
