CWS Regionals

R2.  F2 gives the signs and then slips back to the rear of the box.  (He's legally in there.)

On the pitch, R2 tries to steal 3B.  As F2 comes up to throw, his shoulder hits the PU in the chops.   F2's throw was hardly accurate but F5 managed to catch it.   PU immediately calls UI and sends R2 back to second.  I thought it was a great call.

You do see some odd things in the CWS and some darned fine officiating!  PU took the time to describe to both managers what happened--while he was readjusting his dentures!  🙂

As usual, it took the broadcast crew a while to unwedge their heads and explain what happened.
