Pardon my ignorance...I have only seen pics of these shirts. I have never seen either one closely in person...what is the difference between these 2 shirts, please?

The 314 is a more direct (almost identical) copy of the light-weight Majestic "CoolBase" material. The 312 is the thicker, cheaper traditional polyester material.
