Odd play in Birmingham - Montgomery MiLB game

Any info on this? Someone listening to the game says that the announcer said there was a fly ball to CF, it was caught, and that the batter-runner ended up on 3B, the CF and offensive manager were both ejected.

 

My theory is, the ball was ruled not a catch

Official scoring is a fielding error. Sounds like a drop/transfer issue. Maybe we'll get video after the game.
