Pick off to third base

Runner on third (no one on first or second) and pitcher in the stretch (right handed).  Can he lift his front leg and then fake a throw to third (like he could on an inside move to second)? Or is this now a balk if he doesn't throw the ball??

In OBR and those OBR-based sets that have adopted the rule banning feints to third, this is a balk. All others, this is legal. Whether he is left- or right-handed is irrelevant.

Depends on the ruleset. OBR (MLB) is illegal and a balk. Fed (High School) and NCAA (I believe) still allow this.
