Huge USSSA tournament in KC this weekend (as long as we're not under water ).  Hundreds of teams from all around the country.  Really good teams and really good baseball.

Monday, the 14U Majors championship games will be televised on one of the sub-ESPN channels and I'll be working.  If I can find out which channel for sure, I'll post and if anyone happens to be watching, I'll try not to suck.

I think we have a few local teams coming down for that tournament. I pretty sure the 14u Naturals is one of them. Main pitcher throws some smoke.

OK, so it's 13 U Majors.  Baseball has been decent so far this weekend.

we have 2 championship games tomorrow afternoon/evening.  4:00 and 7:00.  

We're running 3 man for each. I should have the dish for one.  From what im being told, games are to be televised on MLB network.  I'm not 100% about that.

I believed they were streamed online.

I almost didn't get to do the 4:00 game because my 12:00 semi game got delayed by a brief storm.  Luckily it got over about 2 minutes after we restarted (long story) and I was able to get my gear off and work 2nd base for the 4:00 game.  This didn't allow much pre-game so working 4 man was both exhilarating and terrifying.  I blew the first fly ball to center by not going out.  Fortunately it was routine and I settled down after that and had a great time.  Got to call a couple of close steal plays at second.

I was on the dish for the 7:00 game.  We missed a couple rotations but they were on routine plays again.  I didn't get to 3rd with the 2 HRs.  1st one I didn't go, the 2nd, 3B didn't go in.  Probably lots to critique from you guys that are much more experienced with 4 man mechanics.  Plus the announcers were right behind the backstop and hearing them was tripping me out a little.  I really had to focus to block them out.
