Had my first summer collegiate game yesterday.   Game went smooth, I had the dish.  Game wasn't too serious which was nice.  Even had some player/coaches filling in because the catcher wasn't there,  he had to go back to Aruba.   Game was 12-0 blowout but only took 2:20 to play 9 innings.  Already looking forward to future college level games.

Yes, it's not much different than any other level.  Players are better, things get done faster it seems like.  One of the umpires I recently worked with asked me if I was interested in doing some coll

Yes, it's not much different than any other level.  Players are better, things get done faster it seems like.  One of the umpires I recently worked with asked me if I was interested in doing some college ball and next thing I know I was getting a text from the assigner.  I actually had to turn down a game because of the day job.  Great experience overall.
