How far in advance do you usually have games sent to you. Not including weekend tournaments.

It depends on the assignor.

My college games are scheduled for the entire season, then I get add-ons as he needs -

High school is anywhere between a week and a month out, depends on how the weather is treating us, as we only have a 2 month season.

American Legion is for the season, then add-ons for playoffs and added games.

I also work District Little League and state all-star stuff on both the big and small field. That is generally scheduled out as the brackets change around.

 

When I schedule fall ball - I try to schedule all of the games, then deal with reschedules as needed.

 

What would really help is to have EVERYONE use 1 assignment system, so you can keep it updated easier. I work with Arbitor, Ref Town and our legion assignor just keeps track of everything on his computer.
