Umpires, MLB reach 5-year agreement

It will take a while for the terms of the CBA to be leaked. 

 

If someone were so inclined they could get a copy from the Dept of Labor at a cost of $0.15 per page. But I'm sure we'll hear of anything significant. 

 

I would bet there wasn't any earth-shaking changes to the past as the umpires have continuously agreed with replay mid-agreement. If anything, I would bet all of the promises were made and done at those points and the new agreement was more or less a formality. 

The biggest thing I imagine would be retirement.

What is the current policy on retirement benefits?  I assume they get pension, healthcare, etc, but how many years of service time did it take in the old CBA to achieve "retirement" status.
