unless something comes up on Sunday. Good season. Started with a good clinic and cage work..119 games (and only 10 were softball!). Very little grief. No EJ's. One stretch of maybe 2 weeks were I had a few bad (unfocused) games and ran into a few jerky coaches, but smooth sailing other than that. I think I continued to improve (be more consistent) with my timing, although i had plenty of lapses. I think I took a big step forward on balks (although I had plenty of lapses).  I had far too many (for my liking) inconsistent games behind the plate - those timing lapses, and all-over-the-place 8-18 yr old pitching.

 

A month off from umping, a week at the beach, and then back at it in September.  don't love fall ball, but hope to get 40-50 games in.

i though that when i was typing it but i dont think so..the coaches were all from one organization and the bad games weren't for them..maybe summer fatigue just setting in and effecting on both fronts
