NAIA Non-Conference game. R1 takes off for second stealing. Batter swings. Catcher throws down. F4 covering. Catcher's throw is a good one, low and is there in time but tails toward LF/SS a bit at the end. F4 grabs ball sits on his haunches essentially blocking the bag, with the ball mind you, with his butt. R1 slides headfirst, arms outstretched and his head/face go into F4's butt and he is reaching through F4s legs but is tagged as he couldn't reach the base.

Tagged out baserunner's skipper, on way back to 1B dugout from 3B coaches' box asks me if I know how to explain to his runner how not to slide headfirst into defensive guy's butt and make an out. I said feet first was probably a better way in that situation. We laughed. It was humorous. We both agreed we'd never seen that before. Neither had my partner. Home coach, with a chuckle, says they practice that play. Yea right.

Hahaha. I love baseball. You never know what you're gonna get to see.
