Jesse was a great umpire, a wonderful colleague...He never had a bad word for anyone. He called it as he saw it. I respected his opinion and valued his input. I was honored to count him as a friend. Rest in peace, my friend...

I met Jesse the week I was there in 2012. Waking up  to him blasting his music was a pain but getting to know him that week and the other guys in the barracks was priceless. Jesse made a few of us a CD of the music he played each morning. It's still in my cars CD player. When I listen to it I will be reminded of Jesse. RIP friend.
