Buf vs LHV. Leheigh was IW a batter in the top of the ninth. After the second pitch the batter took his arm guard off and threw it toward the dugout. After the third pitch the PU called time, told the batter to clear the guard. The PU points the ball back into play, pitcher drops the ball, bang,"That's a balk!" They tried to argue that the ball was dead but it was clear that he pointed the ball in. Manager came out and got dumped, catcher carried on, got dumped.

Did you catch the knucklehead statement the announcers made in the bottom of the ninth? They said the Pro umpires have been touchy lately, citing the two tosses for bat throwing.

Yeah. I heard that and just shook my head.

i always giggle a little bit when hearing the announcers try and quantify what is going on..
