Since the illegal feint to 3B rule does not yet apply to Fed, this situation may still come up during a HS game:

Pitcher feints a throw to 3B from the set position. However, the ball remains in his glove, so the throwing motion is with his bare hand.  Fed rule 6-2-4-e regarding balks seems to make this okay. Do you agree?

All that's required for a legal feint from the rubber is a "direct step", so yes, I agree.
