I've noticed a few members here are pretty tech savvy...was wondering if anyone knew how to record (on your computer) a live stream feed of a game. Any advice appreciated. CB

My way:

Open Mozilla Firefox (download and install if you haven't already)

Go here: http://www.downloadhelper.net/install.php

Install video downloadhelper (2nd from top)

Restart Firefox (if not prompted, close, wait, re-open)

Open Firefox, load the webpage the live stream will be shown on. Play the stream. Next to the URL bar, you should have 3 balls in the shape of a triangle rotating...click the down arrow next to it, select quality and file format, click the desired quality and format. This will prompt a folder to appear allowing you to choose where you want to save the video and what name the downloaded file will take on.

This can be done for any video embedded in a web page on the internet IE YouTube, MLB.com, etc

As always, bear in mind any state / federal copyright / video downloading laws
