PONY League - Palomino level

R1 on 2nd and R2 on 1st, B1 hits to center. F8 throws to F2 for put out on R1, throw gets past F2 bounces off of fence and ends up into PU ball bag. R1 made it home, R2 on 3rd and B1 on 2nd when play was stopped.

PU awarded R2 home and B1 3rd, each 1 base from where they ended at end of play. I do not have a PONY rule book, wondering if the awards were correct.

It actually happened at a game, I was not present but was asked about it.

You can't entirely tell from the OP but it should be two bases from where the runners were when the ball went out of play.

Just for future posts, name the runners by where they are on base, R3 on third, R2 on second and R1 on first. It makes it easier to track runners through a play. The only place that does it the other way is FED and it is quite confusing.

Wow thats a crazy situation. MST has it right 2 from when it went out of play, or in the bag. PONY primarily follows MLB rules there may be some local rules situations to deal with, which is hard to keep straight sometimes.

Thanks for making your first post we hope to hear more from you>
