Has anyone worked one of these tournaments?

Yes, last summer at St. Louis U and U Missouri St. L, in Surprise! St. Louis. Good baseball. College venues. Young men as site directors. Games played strictly to the times set. Professional site support. No issues or complaints from coaches and fans. All in all a good experience. Unfortunately, my new job will not allow me to work it this year. It was assigned by my college group, Midwest Umpires Association. Paid through the association. I don't remember the game fees but it was appropriate and adequate. Worked it with my good buddy Pete Reiser.

Also, Cuban, in Kentucky, works these tourneys regularly in the Lexington area. He may have an opinion as well.

My two cents........
