our association requests that we show up at least an hour before game time and to call your partner at least the day before.

my problem this weekend was that i accepted this scrimmage from a text friday afternoon and never got my partner's name or number. my assigner said he "accidently" deleted the text from him and couldn't remember for sure who it was. o well, i worked good baseball in october, something i haven't done in several years, and i got paid quite well for it.

I'd love nothing more than a 24- or 48-hour rule. I'm that kind of guy. Usually if JaxRolo and I are working together, we pretty much know what spaces we're parking in as soon as we know we're partners. Unfortunately, we're about the only two that are like that. And, like he said, we're lucky if we even know we have a game the night before. I got my e-mail from Arbiter for tonight's 6:00 sitting at the Jaguars game(if you want to call it that) last night at 11:30. Good thing my e-mail comes to my phone, or I wouldn't have known until around 1 today.

We service between 12-20 (in my estimate, Rolo may have a better idea of the number) rec leagues and travel leagues, as well as some HS fall games. Not exactly overwhelming.
