New Gear from Wilson

If any of you are following Ump-Attire on Facebook, he had a meeting with the head of umpire development for Wilson and a couple of things were addressed. For those social networking hermits:

-The new West Vest with the cooling packs are not coming out any time soon for purchase.

- Ump-Attire will carry non-wrap around pads.

- The Shock FX throat guard could be redesigned to fit the newer 2.0 version.

- *BIGGEST ONE* I guess Wilson has a prototype for a chest protector extension to go on their West Vests. So that looks like its going to happen. I know I lot of talk on here has been about the Gold or Plat not being big enough for the taller umpires. This sounds promising.

If you are not following ump-attire on Facebook yet, I strongly suggest it. Jim is always taking suggestions to pass a long to the manufacturers as well as what you think he should carry.

This connection makes Jim and Ump-Attire different from the rest.
