Several firsts

I worked my first 3 man crew district games this year and also got a few of the playoff games. I've quadrupled the number of school games from last year. Those were mostly high school and a few middle school games mixed in as well.

My 17 y/o started working tournament ball last weekend after 3 years of rec ball and a few middle school scrimmage days. He is considered one of the better umpires in the local league(not just by me). I get positive comments all of the time from coaches in that league. Last night he (Alex) worked my younger son's (Aaron) game on the 11-12 field. This was the first time that he had the plate on one of his games. I had to get a photo of the moment. Aaron pitched the last 3 innings. He told his brother after the game, "I thought you missed that pitch on the inside corner in the 4th inning. But that was the only one you missed."

We are headed to the International Camp in Atlanta this year. We went to the Southern Camp a few years ago and had a great time.

I did submit it today. I took it last night at the park. Actually it's a screen cap from the video I took with my HD cam from the outfield fence.

Good. I'm not going crazy. I "liked" the UA page on facebook, so I must have seen it there.
