Chest protector... tap-tap. Shin guards... tap-tap. Cup... tap-*DOH!*

I walk the lines between home and the bases and look for pebbles and dirt clumps. I did the same thing when I played because I loved to bunt.

Some of mine:

-Never wear a cup when working the dish for a championship.

(accidently forgot twice and had great games.)

-Always set the alarm on game days so that it ends with a 9.

-Listen to the same playlist before every game.

-Always pay my dues the same way. Money order sent via Priority Post.

-Always try to get the same lockers when working at the local stadium.

I would lose that habit quickly! I wear a cup even on the bases!

My one ritual is that I drink a bottle of 5-hour Energy (Pomegranate flavor every time) on the way to the field. I've missed this a few times and it gets in my head when I do.

I used to get headaches frequently post games so I started taking a goody powder before the game. I also drink a gatorade before. I found it gives me a slight energy boost and also no more post game headaches.
