    I have been sharing gear with my partner and am looking to get my own. I have settled on a mask and shin guards and am looking at this CP. I have looked all over the forum and seen it mentioned but there is not much info. I will be calling all summer league ball this year (up to 16U) but may get into some high school next year. Would this be sufficient for that? I believe there is a hard plastic layer under the padding, does pad->shell make it less protective then shell->pad?
