I plan on getting the NB 450 plate shoes after my Honigs wear out. I just got them last year. How long do plate shoes last, anyway? This is my 2nd year doing HS and plate shoes are required. If I was only doing LL, I might not have known about the plate shoes. Thanks

I am thinking of buying these shoes. I was wondering if they are a true size. IOW, is a size 10 really a size 10? Thanks for the input.

Last year I was invited with 2 others to work the Oregon state Little League 11-12 yo state tournament. We drove from Bend to just outside Portland for 2 games. I had the plate for the second game. Full six innings in 1:12. The losing team that game was Lake Oswego, who went on and won the Northwest Regional final to advance to the LLWS.
