Getting back into umpiring after a 12 absence. Been coaching my two sons from t-ball to Sr. Babe Ruth (they are both in the Marine Corps now). Umpired in LL (as little as I could get away with), AAU, Rec league, Pony, and Sr. Babe Ruth - oh, and a few legion games. Started working some USSSA 14U and 10U this past spring. Getting my timing back has been the HARDEST thing. Blew a couple of calls due to rushing. Been lurking here a few weeks. I have really learned a lot from this site. A lot of new info and a great review of stuff I'd forgotten. Anyway, glad to be here.
