Thanks for the code. Went ahead and ordered one of the original versions and have now loaded it up with my gear. I went from a Diamond gear bag (the hockey bag style) and a separate garment bag with my uniforms and such to being able to put it all into this bag - just barely.
The top section I have a chest protector, shin guards, mask, plate shoes and base shoes. Have to be pretty thorough in putting everything in, but it just fits without putting too much stress on the bag or zippers. Bottom split into 3 sections. 6 shirts and 2 pants in one section, t-shirts, socks, belt, etc. in the middle and then cap caddy, jock, accessories bag and a couple other items in the other section. Put my ball bag and brush in the zippered mesh pocket above where my uniforms are go help keep them in place. It weighed in at 37 points total, so all good if I was going to fly with it (not that I plan to).
Provincial (Canadian version of State) U18 championship tournament this weekend. First two games we get a change room, the next two are out of the trunk of the car. That will be the next test of how this bag functions.
