Umpiresoftball

Oh man those are trickly calls to make, So i was doing u12 softball game and it was the states. the ball hits the bat once than when bats on the ground again. i talk to my partner and she said its a rule out. As sometimes these calls can be live ball the way it happens.

I wouldn't worry about what happen you did the right thing some uic just don't think or use common sense. the one thing that grinds my geer is that when fans throw the ball back into field when we are in play mood.

There has to be more to the story. I mean 10 officers and the big guy? Really just for one umpire? that a tad over the top.... So when and where did the assult happen on the field? I hope he didn't drive....

So i was doing a game and i kept hearing this Bird it sounded close. So after couple innnings a fan show me there mascot on the field... its a baby bird He/she couldn't fly it was young or could barley get of the ground. Anyways the bird leaves field than comes back onto field between home and 3rd coach came out with a glove to get the bird to safety. the bird tried to come back again... lol I think the nest was in on of the dugout but it was so cool seeing...

I had to make this call i kind of screw it up the last part.... shame on me but oh well Anyways u10 batter swings but the ball also hits her hand. i rule it as a stirke and a dead ball they thought it was fair... it was in fair but the ball was dead when it hit her hands. what i miss the call she couldn't countine on first base and had no subs. So i should of had to call her out. i had a 2-2- count on that afterwords.

I only do Babe Ruth fast pitch softball. I just join so i guess maybe that % can go up just a tad edit: I used to do baseball so i also got some knowedlge on that.

There is usually time limit for these games as well as trying to have kids to swing. I see where your coming from but there telling you what there calling so give the heads up to the kids. We are ask by are uic to expand strike zone.

So we have a new Umpire here I don't want to use her real name so I call her Betty So Betty first time doing u8 states On Saturday afternoon she was confuses I guess with inference/obustrtion call (still don't know what happen with that call) So than one of the coach's gets the fans wild up calling her the b word and no good umpire. Oh boy was the distract/uic were not happy with what happen there. She seem to be upset I would of ask her (had to do my u8 game) but there other umpires whom help her out. After she spoke to the our uic and other umpires she was fine. So I was suppose to have this game with the coach the next morning uic boss wants our uic to do the game. So he does do the u8 game and the distract commsnior is in the stands not joking. He pretty told them if any of coach's approach him they be thrown out. Manager wanted to apologize to the umpire our uic did a guilt trip said she quit after what happen. (she didn't quit) Now another issue came up with my game but personally I can only grant time. visiting team in field and injury at third base she ok after words time was called for that. visiting team in field again... and aplenty asking for time ( I couldn't here them so I didn't know till the ball was alive.) So afterword's time is grant fans are upset didn't' grant time coach's/managers upset I didn't grant time. So I walk up to visiting coach told him he need to clam down and said I couldn't here him. The fans are now yelling and upset over at the coach/manager I said its a u8 game you need to clam down. (personally would of ignore the fans but the reason I couldn't here them) They wanted time for third basewomen for injury but that was last inning I know that much. Uic did speak to both afterword's. that happen It seem visiting coach/manager was upset the other coach/manager didn't here them. or ignore them, oh btw... the fans wanted me to send runners back. the ball was alive when I figure out what happen. I am not stopping play till I can in that case.

Hello all I am Patch under Youth softball fast pitch for Babe Ruth I have done distracts, states the last couple years here. First time I did the u8 states very cool. I been doing umpire baseball/softball for awhile now... I think I started half way through my... high school year. I used to volunteer local little league to be base umpire. Than I started with the bases on the other side of town north side where you got paid $10 for doing bases. Than I just decide to get patch for softball. I am 26 years old male live in New Hampshire I do have some grammar/spelling errors so work with me if you don't mind.
