I was doing a dixie ozone 11-12 game. I havea kid who had caused a few problems earlier in the year. He comes to the plate i call strike one on him for a perfect pitch he shoots me a look he then gets a couple balls the fouls a pitch off the we get a corner pitch i ring him up. He is walking away and says that was 5 feet outside. I tell him get in the dugout I heard enough or Im going to have to toss you. He then says do it then. So I honored his request. Then the coach is like its the inning you cant do that. I explained i tried to move him along he wouldnt take the bait. He is like I have never seen you throw out a kid. Im not sure your level headed enough for working with kids. I looked at him and said you know I am a childrens counselor during the day right. He then trys to throw in an illegal ball which brings down our site director who tells him to coach or leave.

in 12 years i had 1 coach 8 years ago 1 fan the same day. 1 player last week. I think that is a good track record.

Something coaches forget is there is no rule in baseball stating that a person has to be warned if he becomes outs of line. I would have probably told the coach if he ever went into the stands and polled the crowd like that again that he would be joining the player. You cant have a player or coach showing you up in front of everyone.
