3B Umpire Chad Fairchild ejected Guardians manager Stephen Vogt (check swing strike three call) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Mets-#Guardians game. With one out and the bases loaded, Guardians batter Chase DeLauter attempted to check his swing on a 1-2 slider from Mets pitcher Jefry Yan, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Chad Whitson and called a swinging strike on appeal by 3B Umpire Fairchild. At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 4-3. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 6-5.
