With one out and none on, Rays batter Simpson attempted to check his swing on a 3-2 splitter from Twins pitcher Taj Bradley, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Bill Miller and affirmed as no swing by 1B Umpire Whitson. At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 4-1. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 6-2.This is Chad Whitson (62)'s 1st ejection of 2026.This is the 18th ejection report of the 2026 MLB regular season.This is the 2nd coach ejection of 2026.
