cwbaseball11 Posted Tuesday at 01:05 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:05 PM After 4 seasons with my Adidas Speed Trainer 5's, I am probably going to be in the market for some new base shoes. Any recommendations? For reference, I call middle school-Varsity and also men's rec ball. We have a wide variety of fields among those groups. We have some all turf fields, some well maintained red dirt and grass fields, some dust bowls, and some fields with turf cut outs and very well maintained grass (that looks like turf at first glance). The shoes that intrigue me are Boombahs, New Balance Fresh Foam v4, Nike Men's cross turfs, and HOKAs (which I know are not "turfs"). I've also looked at some spikeless golf shoes. My biggest priorities are comfort (back issues) and traction. I plan to keep my Adidas speed trainers as my "mud" shoes and maybe use them exclusively for middle school games. Thanks in advance!
