HP Umpire Lance Barrett ejected Nationals assistant hitting coach Chris Johnson (strike one call to CJ Abrams; QOCN) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Mets-Nationals game. With one out and none on, Nationals batter Abrams took a 0-0 slider from Mets pitcher Tylor Megill for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitcher was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh-high (px -1.01, pz 2.69), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 7-1. The Nationals ultimately won the contest, 8-7.

This is Lance Barrett (16)'s 1st ejection of 2025.
