With two out and none on, Giants batter Chapman took a 1-1 sweeper from Cubs pitcher Mark Leiter Jr for a called second strike before taking a 3-2 sinker for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch ruled strike two was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px -0.17, pz 1.40 [sz_bot 1.65 / RAD 1.53 / MOE 1.45]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Cubs were leading, 6-4. The Giants ultimately won the contest, 7-6.
