With two out and one on, Morel took a 2-2 fastball from Cubs pitcher Drew Smith for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and waist-high (px 0.89, pz 3.22), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 10-2. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 10-2.
