HP Umpire Ben May ejected Blue Jays bench coach Don Mattingly (strike two call to Brandon Belt; QOCN) in the top of the 5th inning of the #BlueJays-#Dodgers game. With none out and one on, Belt took a 1-1 fastball from Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin for a called second strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and above the midpoint (px -0.19, pz 3.57 [sz_top 3.21 / RAD 3.33 / MOE 3.41]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Blue Jays were leading, 2-0. The Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 8-1.
