Many years ago there was a video making its way around the Internet of a play...I think maybe involved Phili and or New York...where the batter-runner missed first base, the first baseman literally stomps on first base...indicating an unmistakable appeal...umpire (maybe Hernandez) does not call him out on appeal...until F3 vacates 1B and tags the batter-runner out.

The BOS/TOR play today made me think of it...but I can not find the video.

If you have it...or know the details of the play...please post it.
