weird JUCO game

Not sure if this is technically a war story but I haven't been on in awhile so here goes....  

JUCO double-header today.  First time I have umpired the coach I used to play for.  First game full seven in under 1:15, he loses 1-2 so not in a good mood, but I had a good game as the base umpire.  Second game I am PU and I had two catchers interference calls that he hated (but hey... its catchers interference), and three bunts that hit the batter.  Two of these i didn't see because the catcher set up inside and stood up.  On one I couldn't find the ball because the it got stuck in the batters uniform and nobody knew it until he was halfway down the line.  A balk. Two pulled foots at first base with my partner in C (two man).  Two foul balls, or tips, on curveballs in the dirt that I had no clue if the catcher caught it or not.  In other words, me an my partner got together a lot, and subsequently all of these calls went against my former coach and the game went from 3-3 to 13-3 in the fourth and fifth innings, sealing the run rule and his second loss on the day.  Needless to say we had a couple stare downs and exchanged a few expletives that nobody else could hear when he came out.  It all seemed awkward because this is a guy who I respect and would definitely have a beer with right now even if we were bitching at each other.  He never gave me a chance to dump him though, but I did give him the hand.  Just a weird day.
