Great Father's Day Weekend

Got to spend the weekend watching my son call in the Midwest League.  Friday night he was crew chief  & on the dish on 1st game of series between Beloit & Wisconsin held at Miller Park.  It was an awesome experience for the entire crew.  It was his and rest of crew's first time to call  in an MLB stadium.  The crew from Beloit's previous series was held over to create a 4-man crew on Friday's game.  Wife & I drove from TN, met daughter-in-law & grandson at O'Hare & made it to Miller Park just in time for 1st pitch.  Saturday was a rainout in Beloit so Sunday brought a doubleheader for Father's Day.  Tonight is going to be awesome too because Midwest League is on All-Star break & we are headed to Chicago for 3 days and we get to attend the Cubs / Dodgers series as guests of MLB ump from our hometown.  Awesome!  Even though my grandson is only almost six-months he knows his daddy's voice on the plate & he snaps his head up every time he hears "good wood" on a hit ball.
